When the familiar needs to feel slightly unfamiliar:
STRIGOR.
STRIGOR explores a less polished corner of the MICRON series — a collection built from environmental noises, insects and critters, foley, organic details and imperfect textures, brought together with raw analogue synth waves, oscillators and simple electronic tones.
It isn't intended to sound enormous or spectacular. Its character comes from smaller things: movement, friction, instability, dirt, repetition and tiny details that can quietly change the atmosphere of a scene.

Ever-changing Sounds
The XY engine allows you to shape and blend up to four sources, moving smoothly between them; shifting from tones with granular processing brings to static atmospheres, subtly shifting with each note, so no two performances sound the same. This irregularity adds life and movement, perfect for cinematic underscoring, experimental scoring, or adding unexpected color to ambient compositions.
Raw. Organic. Electronic.
At the heart of STRIGOR is the contrast between two worlds.
The first is physical: scratches, rustles, environmental sounds, creatures, mechanical noises and found textures. The second is electronic: analogue waves, primitive oscillators and deliberately straightforward synthesis.
By processing, combining and reshaping these sources, STRIGOR creates sounds that can sit somewhere between natural and synthetic, living and mechanical, recognisable and abstract.
A little dirt can tell a story.
Rather than smoothing every edge, STRIGOR often allows the imperfections to remain. Grain, noise and irregular movement become part of the sound.
The result is a palette that can suggest something microscopic, biological, chemical, mechanical or simply slightly out of place — without forcing a particular story onto the music.
Flip the Script: Instant Reverse & Step Volume Control
Twist reality with the intuitive reverse patch, reversing each sample layer on the fly to uncover unexpected sonic textures. Sculpt rhythmic pulses and evolving dynamics with the per-layer step volume, adding intricate motion to your four-layered sound designs.
STRIGOR can work particularly well when conventional cinematic sounds feel too familiar.
It may find a place in science fiction, documentaries, biology and chemistry films, microscopic imagery, laboratories, technology, experimental cinema, investigative sequences and unusual transitions.
But these are only starting points. STRIGOR was created as a collection of colours and textures for composers and sound designers to interpret in their own way.
Not everything needs to sound beautiful.
Sometimes it simply needs to feel right.
STRIGOR embraces the raw, crude and direct — not for the sake of being unusual, but to provide another voice when a scene calls for something less predictable.

Micron – Sands
SANDS feels physical and alive—like sound shaped by wind, breath, and distant landscapes. The aleatoric strings add an element of gentle unpredictability, creating subtle emotional depth and movement. Flute textures drift softly, lending an organic quality reminiscent of air flowing through ancient ruins, inviting reflection and atmosphere.
Micron – Granular Fog
GRANULAR FOG is a playable library of fractured textures, organic glitches, and rhythmic irregularities. Its sounds shift and scatter, breaking apart and reforming into new colors. With granular variations at its heart, the library offers tones that feel both experimental and cinematic, adding fresh character to modern media scoring.
Micron – Frets
Expressive electric guitars with diatonically sampled notes across every string. Play by fret group or let the engine choose positions for realism. Includes soft finger-picking, slanted plectrum, legato, round robins, shimmer pads, iconic guitar synths (GR-300, VG-8), and Ebow sustains with ornaments — perfect for cinematic, ambient, worship music and much more.
Micron – Fragile
FRAGILE is a deeply expressive string instrument built around movement, harmony, and emotional nuance. It is not a collection of loops. It is not a pad library. It is a playable instrument designed for composers who want their harmonies to breathe, shift, and respond. FRAGILE lives in the space between motion and stillness.
