Intertwining organic arpeggiations and cinematic motion for SOUNDBOX

TETRATONE

TetraTone is a collection of layered organic instruments and motion-driven textures designed to create intertwining arpeggiations with depth, detail and cinematic energy. Built from the sound sources of Audiofier Tetrality 1 and 2, it brings together plucked, struck and expressive acoustic material in a format made for movement, interplay and evolving rhythmic design.
More than a simple arp collection, TetraTone is built to generate living patterns that feel musical, textured and full of momentum. Its four-layer structure allows sounds to interlock, support and answer one another, creating rhythmic motion that can feel intricate, dramatic, intimate or expansive depending on how the layers are combined.

Core Sound Sources:

At its core, TetraTone draws from the organic palette of Audiofier Tetrality 1 and 2, including Felt piano, Kora, Kalimba, Kantele, Musicbox, Gamelan, Celtic Harp, mallet instruments like Xylophone, Vibraphone & Celesta, delicate strikes, felted and acoustic tones, and other detailed sound sources shaped for rhythmic interaction. These are not flat static samples, but expressive instruments enriched with velocity layers and round robins for a more natural and responsive feel.
Alongside these organic sources, TetraTone also includes processed motion textures, trailing rhythmic beds and flowing supportive layers designed to accompany and enrich the main arpeggiations. These subtle moving elements add width, atmosphere and forward motion, helping patterns feel more cinematic, more immersive and less mechanical.

Why It Moves Differently

TetraTone is built for interplay. Instead of relying on a single repeated line, it allows up to four layers to combine into shifting, intertwining patterns that create the impression of a living ensemble in motion. One layer can define the pulse, another can provide sparkle or detail, another can introduce body or harmonic support, while another can add trailing motion and texture underneath.
This layered approach makes TetraTone especially effective for cues that need movement without clutter, rhythm without aggression, and detail without losing emotion.

Who Is It For

TetraTone is for composers, producers and sound designers who want organic rhythmic motion with more character and expressivity than a standard synthetic arpeggiator. It is especially suited for drama, documentary, film, television, trailers, emotional tension building and any cue that benefits from layered acoustic interplay and evolving motion.
It is also ideal for those who want to create intricate backgrounds, pulsing undercurrents, delicate rhythmic figures or interwoven patterns that feel human, cinematic and full of nuance.
